The chapter finds ways for the public to help the Huntington disease community - mainly through fundraising events and activities which raise awareness of Huntington Disease - since 1997. Join us at an upcoming event or volunteer.
Run and Hike for Huntington Disease next= June 22, 2014: 5k/10k run, 5k hike. Canada's largest event in support of the Society in 2012. Help raise awareness of Huntington disease and promote the event at 30+ Running Room stores plus workplaces, schools, clubs and community groups across Ontario. Running Room magazine May/June 2013 published an article.

Toronto hosted the 2012 Huntington Society of Canada National Conference, where 27 recipients from across Canada received the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal for their significant contributions to the Society, the Huntington disease community and Canada, including Huntington Society of Canada co-founder, Ariel Walker.
